When Amie grows up she wants to be a writer. 

Amie has learnt that a little bit of self-compassion and kindness goes a long way, she would like other mothers to know that most of what we worry about are nothing more than optional extras. 

Amie has completed and is in the editing phase of her first book-length work: Anxiety is a Bitch and so are Lunchboxes.  

A Harbour was published in November as part of The Gathering of Kindness Anthology the inaugural Hush Foundation Kindness in Health Writing Prize.  

Amie was one of four people selected to attend Varuna House for a week-long Advanced Residential Masterclass with Patti Miller.
